Plants for spices, powders and granules

In PMR's long experience in building filling, capping and labeling equipment, several solutions have been realized for packaging spices, powders and granules. In order to meet the filling of small batches, PMR has designed: the semi-automatic volumetric screw feeder with brushless motor and continuous control of dosing speed, varying from 1 to 5000 g, and the electronic linear vibrating channel feeder, which is ideal for automatic weighing of products of various grain s and dosing from 5 to 1000 g.

To automate the packaging of powders and spices with productivity up to 1500 pcs/h, PMR has designed several automatic filling, capping and labeling lines.

Among the latest products made is a solution for spices and granules consisting of: an automatic powder loading and dosing system with 4 vibrating channels, loading hopper, weighing pan, and unloading hopper; automatic capping machine for screw caps with automatic cap feeder, Pick & Place system for automatic loading of caps onto containers, and induction system for seal sealing. Completing the plant is an M3010 labeling machine for wrap-around application on cylinders and squares.

For the packaging of cosmetic powders PMR built a talcum powder plant. The line consists of two mixers for transferring powders to the dosing units, a liquid pump for dosing fragrances, and a 5-nozzle filling machine for dosing the mixture into 125-gram containers. All machine parts in contact with the product are made of AISI 316L stainless steel. The dosing system is brushless motor-driven, and the continuous dosing speed control maintains optimal filling tolerance (+/- 2%).

Cap loading is automatic; the directing of the caps takes place through a vibrating channel and they are arranged in the feeder all in the same position. The conveyor belt allows conveying the containers to the capping monoblock where a pressure closure head completes the packaging. The entire system is operated by touch-screen control panels and is equipped with safety systems that stop the operation if any anomaly is detected through the sensors. This line produces between 1600/1800 pcs/h. The packaging process is concluded by an M3010 FB labeling line for source/back label application.
